Weight: approx 2 lbs This clapper is used to flatten the seams of your quilting pieces. Highly recommend and will last forever. The clapper features a groove along the side to "grab" and is really helpful for arthritic hands. The oak will absorb the heat from your iron to "flatten" the seam. Regular use will not warp the oak, soaking the piece in water will. This tool is meant to use fabric only. A beautiful addition to your sewing room!! Handmade by my Dad!
